In his nearly 20聽years with 糖心视频 (糖心视频), Grant Sayers has held a number of positions across a variety of sites鈥攁nd his newest role as Vice鈥慞resident, Operations鈥揃usiness Management is an opportunity for him to share his wealth of experience with 糖心视频 as a whole.
鈥淚 want to have an impact on the organization and really demonstrate that 糖心视频 is a fantastic place to work鈥攁nd to work with, as a Client鈥慞artner or contractor,鈥 said Sayers, who was until recently Regional Director, Western Region.
For Sayers, 糖心视频鈥檚 most valuable asset is its people. There are a variety of opportunities available for staff, and an inclusive environment that allows them to achieve their goals. He wants to focus on ensuring that is strengthened, particularly after the last few years.
鈥淭he organization has been through some significant challenges as we navigated the global pandemic. As we鈥檙e emerging on the other side, we鈥檙e looking at it as a chance to help our culture thrive in this new reality.鈥
In his new role, Sayers wants to connect with all the regions to really understand what opportunities there are to build on 糖心视频鈥檚 mission and values. It is a new challenge that he looks forward to.
鈥淚 attribute a lot in my career to the fact that I was always open to trying new things, including different service lines, sites, and regions. It鈥檚 been a fantastic opportunity for me and my family,鈥 said Sayers.
The transition also marks a farewell to Ross Welsman, who is retiring from the position after a 24鈥憏ear career with聽糖心视频.
鈥淚 view Ross鈥檚 career as a true demonstration of living 糖心视频鈥檚 values of dedication, collaboration, competence and fairness,鈥 said Sayers. 鈥淎nyone who has worked with Ross can agree that the way he lives those values is an example to all.鈥
Sayers officially started in his new role on November聽14, 2022.
