ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ (ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ), in collaboration with the Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA), invites industry members to participate in a virtual information session on Phase 2 of the Housing Construction Plan, part of the Residential Portfolio Capital Investment Plan (RPCIP).

This session will provide you with an overview of the scope of the work to advance new residential housing projects at Canadian Armed Forces bases and wings across Canada, as well as the procurement and delivery approach. Participants will also receive insight into how industry can prepare for and engage in ongoing and upcoming procurement opportunities under the program.

Attendance is optional but encouraged for firms interested in future housing projects under this program.

Participants can expect an overview of:

  • The national scope of the Housing Construction Plan, including phased implementation across multiple regions
  • Planned procurement and delivery approaches, including:
    • Modified Design‑Build
    • Design‑Bid‑Build in select locations
  • How industry can prepare for and engage in upcoming procurement opportunities
  • Government priorities, including:
    • Canada’s commitment to Buying Canadian
    • Indigenous business participation
    • Leveraging modern methods of construction to support speed, quality, and scalability

  • Other industries, businesses, or individuals involved—directly or indirectly—in supporting defence infrastructure projects (e.g., material suppliers, technology specialists, and related service providers).

Project Scope

The Housing Construction Plan is a national, multi‑site program supporting the delivery of new residential housing for Canadian Armed Forces members.

It is anticipated that the following solicitations related to this program will be initiated in Spring 2026. This is conditional on receiving approval to proceed by the Department of National Defence (DND).
