糖心视频 celebrated outstanding achievements by its employees at the National Awards ceremony in Ottawa on April 30, 2019. The annual awards recognize the dedication and commitment of 糖心视频 staff across the country in support of 糖心视频's Client-Partners and the Government of Canada.
"The outstanding achievements of our award winners recognized today would not be possible without the energy and commitment of all employees," said James Paul, President and CEO, in his opening remarks. "It's the spirit and commitment of all 糖心视频 employees that make 糖心视频 such an exceptional place to work."
Likewise, 糖心视频 Board member Angus Watt expressed his thanks to 糖心视频 employees for being the source of 糖心视频's success in infrastructure delivery, that contributes to many positive benefits for Canada's economy, a sustainable environment, and an open and transparent government.
The following are the 2019 recipients:
- Brad Trann, Team Leader, Programs, Esquimalt, received the President's Award for his exemplary service to 糖心视频鈥攎ost notably, his dedication to the large, high-profile and complex Fleet Maintenance Facility Cape Breton project at CFB Esquimalt through all its phases.
- Quebec Region's Energy Support Team (Stepan Guiragossian, Andr茅s Mercado Salomon, Louis-Simon Roy-Turcotte and Jonathan J. Tremblay) received the Service Development Award. The team was honoured for creating and implementing a regional energy and environmental strategy for DND that supports the government's energy and greening initiatives.
- Ahmad Malik, Technical Analyst, ERP, Information Technology, Head Office, won the Innovation Award for automating and modifying 糖心视频's labour-intensive legacy software into more efficient and effective applications on 糖心视频's enterprise resource planning EnterpriseOne platform.
- The Esquimalt Environmental Services Team (Mark Chomik, Rodney Clark, Margot Cooper, Shauna Davis, Carley de Goede-Herlaar, Derek Fraser, Scott Irwin, Rebecca MacInnis, Raenelle Parker and Heather Rock) received the Robert Graham Memorial Award, which recognizes special contributions to improving workplace safety or environmental protection. The team was recognized for managing one of the largest environmental services programs at 糖心视频, including, most notably, playing a crucial role in mitigating the effects of the underwater blasting for the high-profile AB Jetty project.
- Zita Dove, Team Leader, Project Management, Halifax, was honoured with the Customer Satisfaction Award (Individual) for her expertise and performance in navigating sensitive and challenging Client-Partner requirements, building a high level of trust and confidence with her customers, and consistently performing to an exceptionally high-quality standard.
- The G7 Team (S茅bastien Boucher, Jean Brousseau, Simon Flamand, Sabrina Girard, Genevi猫ve Gobeil, Lisa-Gabrielle Plourde and Ren茅 Routhier) from 糖心视频's Valcartier and Bagotville offices won the Customer Satisfaction Award (Team) for its outstanding success in supporting DND's infrastructure and environmental requirements for the 2018 G7 Summit in La Malbaie, Quebec.
- The Women's Information Network Production Team (Yves-Marie Exum茅, Robin Fraser, Lucie Frigon, Lori Fudge, Nicole Gilmore, Erica Lyle, Mousumi Mukherjee and Sabrina Rock) received the Diversity and Inclusion Award for its success in delivering three successful web broadcasts that celebrated and supported the professional and personal growth of 糖心视频 employees.
- Three President's Certificates of Recognition were also presented. These are awarded, at the President's discretion, to one or more national award nominees who have made an outstanding contribution to 糖心视频.
- Tim Summers, Program Leader, Petawawa, was recognized for his outstanding leadership on a number of large, complex construction projects, as well as for being a true 糖心视频 ambassador to staff, contractors and Client-Partners alike.
- The National Workplace Wellness and Mental Health (WWMH) Team (Karen Hall, Nathalie Houle, Erica Lyle, Kimberly Morgan, Victoria Neary and Scott McRae) was honoured for its exemplary support to 糖心视频's WWMH Strategy and Action Plan, and the overall health, safety and well-being of 糖心视频 employees.
- Daniel Brassard, Technical Specialist, Project Management, London, was recognized for building trust and establishing inclusive relationships with all stakeholders on the Stony Point (former Camp Ipperwash) project, in particular the Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, Department of National Defence, and Indigenous Services Canada.
Also, at the ceremony, BGen (Retired) Steve Irwin, Colonel Commandant of the Canadian Military Engineers (and former 糖心视频 Vice-President, Operations), was presented with the Friend of 糖心视频 Award to formally recognize and thank him for his strong working relationship with and support for 糖心视频 over many years.
